Have you ever just been going on about your day and then you have one horrible thought?  Then that one little thought turns into something so big you can't control it.  Now I will ask you; did you know that the enemy only works through imagery and magnification? That is why when he whispers that one little lie in your ear, that little lie creates that horrible thought, then you have a hundred little negative thoughts inside your head and now you have lost control of your mind and thoughts.
This is how going through a trial may get blown out of proportion. 
Once this thought process is blown out of proportion you start telling yourself and believing that this one bad day, this one bad situation means that you have a horrible life and pretty soon you are contemplating suicide. 
BUT when you take your eyes off of your problem and you look up to Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith then your problems start shrinking and your faith will grow bigger and bigger.  Your faith will grow so big that you then know in your heart that God will come through for you no matter what happens.  God will come through for you at the perfect time, and work out any situation.  God will never leave us or forsake us. 
When going through any situation always know that God has already worked it out on your behalf. God is sitting in heaven looking down and He has the best view.  God knows the end from the beginning, and His timing is perfect.
Never focus on the storm, always maintain your peace.  When you focus on the storm you are giving the enemy power because he uses those moments to create big distractions for you.  He wants you to be worried and not pray, to not go to church, not fellowship with other believers.  He wants you to sit and talk about your problem all day.  Do not feed into that.  It will only keep you from the treasures you will find in life when you have peace.
And always remember the enemy works through imagery and magnification. The enemy will NEVER present you with anything that is true because he is the father of lies and deceit, therefore turn your focus from those lies and look up to GOD!
